Ascentia Holdings Corporation and Taiyo Yuhka Corporation (Itabashi-ku, Tokyo; President: Tahei Ishida) have established a joint venture company, TOKYO8 GLOBAL, to develop TOKYO8MICRO FRANHCISE, which improves agricultural production at low cost for small-scale farming in developing and emerging countries.
Its activities won the Deputy Director-General (Minister of Foreign Affairs) Award at the Japanese government’s 6th Japan SDGs Awards in March 2023.
On Tuesday, 29th of this month, an international conference will be held where reports will be given from Indonesia, Mauritania, Malawi, and Niger in Africa, which are actually implementing this activity, as well as from Japan, and we will run the conference as one of the co-sponsors.
